PS5 Pro development began even before the PS5 launched

 


The PS5 Pro presentation was one of the most anticipated of the moment, although many people thought that a cross-generation console was not necessary considering that the current ones have not yet been fully exploited. However, it has now been revealed that PS5 Pro has been a five-year project, meaning that its development began even before the original launch of PS5 . Something that confirms that Sony was already thinking about this console before seeing the final form of PS5.

It was Hideaki Nishino himself, CEO of PlayStation, who offered this information in an interview for Variety . It certainly seems that the Pro version of Sony's previous console worked quite well and that is why they already had the launch of this new machine in mind. Apparently, they had already been working on it since the previous generation, something that has caught the attention of some users.
